  • How do I place an order?

    To kick off the order process, please reach out to us either through the request a quote tab or via email at info@iamgearedup. We would love to start the conversation with you and gather all of the information to provide a quote and start the order process. 

  • What types of clients do you work with?

    We work with varying types of clients in many different industries. We love to partner with small businesses, corporations, schools, athletic teams, associations, cities and counties, city services, and community members.  Everyone has a need for custom apparel.

  • What is your standard production timeline?

    Our standard production time is 10 business days from the time the order is finalized. This can change depending on the time of the year. Fall/Winter orders may be 3-4 weeks. A shorter timeline may be possible, please ask! If you have a certain time requirement, please let us know.

  • Can I request sizing samples?

    Yes, we are happy to order sizing samples for our clients. We ask that all samples not used for actual orders will be the responsibility of the group/business placing the order.

  • How will my gear be delivered or picked up?

    • Pick Up hours are 8 – 4 Monday thru Friday. Arrangements may be made if this does not work. If you are unable to pick up the order, we offer courier or UPS delivery. The cost of this service will be added to your invoice.

    • Online stores are set up for groups. Orders will be distributed by those groups unless otherwise noted. If you have questions regarding delivery, please contact the coordinator for your group. Please remember that orders are processed after the online store closes, not the day you place the order.

    We will deliver if discussed and agreed on during the order process for larger client orders. 


  • How should I care for and wash my garments?

    Decorated garments should be washed inside-out, in cold water, and dried on low heat to maintain the quality of the decoration.

  • What is your return policy?

    All decorated merchandise is custom ordered and not subject to return or exchange. Sizing charts are available for most online orders. Please be sure to verify you have ordered the correct size before placing the order.

  • Will you decorate the items I supply that are not ordered through Geared Up Apparel?

    Yes, we will decorate customer supplied items, however they may be subject to an additional customer supplied fee and a longer timeline based on production capacity. 

  • How should I send you my logo and artwork?

    We prefer to receive vector pdfs, ai, or eps files to be able to print and embroider your items at our high-quality standard. If you don’t have your art files we are happy to help with that step of the process. Art fees will apply in this case. 


    For embroidery, simpler logos work best. Gradients and small text may not translate well. we will work with you through this process and provide guidance and advice.

  • Do you require a minimum for an order?

    We do not require a minimum per order; however, price can vary based on quantity ordered. 

  • I don’t see a size guide for an item I’d like to order. Can you send me one?

    We can email sizing guides for most items; or call us if you have questions about the sizing of items prior to placing your order.

  • What types of decoration do you offer?

    “We offer embroidery (patches, twill, direct emboirdery), heat seal screen printing, and more. Let us know your vision, and we’ll recommend the best option.” 

  • Do you offer design help?

    “Yes! If you need help creating or refining your logo or design, our in-house design team can assist for a small art fee.”

  • Can I reorder later?

    “Yes! We keep your designs on file to make future reorders fast and easy.”

  • Do you offer rush orders?

    “Rush orders may be available depending on production capacity. Please contact us for availability and pricing.”

  • Can I get a mockup before placing my order?

    “Yes, we provide digital mockups so you can review and approve your design before production.”

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    “We accept all major credit cards, checks, and ACH payments. Payment is typically due when the order is finalized.” For larger orders we may ask for 50% down at time of order.

  • What happens if I need to make a change to my order in the process?

    “We are able to facilitate changes to orders along the way; however it may bump out timelines if the order has already been approved and set into production.”

  • How do I contact customer service?

  • Do I have to be local to Elk River to order?

    No, we love to work with our clients all across Minnesota and even out of state as we have the capability to ship your completed order directly to you.

  • What are your business hours?

    We are open Monday -Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. CST and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. CST


    Our hours may vary during holiday weeks but will always be posted on our social media channels.


  • How is my personal information protected?

    We take your privacy seriously. Your information is used only to process your order and is never shared or sold.
